Giving Hope one backpack at a time
The right tools are essential for any job.
To meet the unprecedented need in Silicon Valley we will hold the largest back to school event in our history, handing out at least 2,300 backpacks filled with school supplies. We believe low-income students should not face additional challenges in school just because they don’t have the resources to purchase the necessary supplies.
If you agree with us, there are many ways you can help a child attain academic success:

♥ Donate backpacks and school supplies
♥ Organize your group to bring in supplies (printable pdf; choose double-sided printing)
In early August, low-income children from across Santa Clara County will come to Sacred Heart Community Service to choose their own backpack. Each backpack has the required school supplies according to the child’s grade level.

- $20 Gift card for shoes (to any store where shoes are sold)
