Employment & Asset Development

JobLink Employment Program and Asset Building for Independence (ABI) are integrated programs that build economic pathways to self-sufficiency through income support, employment, and financial coaching.

What We Do

Our JobLink and ABI teams work together to support four financial opportunity strategies that change lives:

  • Empowering job seekers through peer networks, new skills, and providing resources that achieve and maintain long-term, stable employment
  • Building access to local resources, public benefits, and support systems as stepping stones to self-sufficiency
  • Breaking the cycle of poverty by increasing income, decreasing debt, establishing or improving credit, and developing assets
  • Advocating for policy change that fights predatory lending practices, eliminates food deserts by building access to healthy foods in low income neighborhoods, and improves access to public benefits
