Sacred Heart Shows Pride!

Sacred Heart staff and volunteers march in the 50th annual Silicon Valley Pride Parade Sunday, August 31st

For the first time in our 60-year history, Sacred Heart proudly joined the Silicon Valley Pride Parade, the largest Pride celebration in the South Bay, now marking its 50th year. On a sunny August Sunday, Sacred Heart staff and volunteers gathered with joy and purpose to march side by side with community members, celebrating love, visibility, and inclusion.

Our participation was more than symbolic—it was a commitment to living out our vision of a community united, where every person is seen, valued, and supported. Taking part in Pride was a chance to show that Sacred Heart not only talks about solidarity but actively shows up for the LGBTQ community in meaningful and visible ways.

Now more than ever, it is vital that our support remains strong and unmistakable. By marching together, we affirmed that Pride is not only a celebration but also a declaration of resilience, belonging, and hope for the future.
