Strategic Plan

Commitment. Action. Capacity.

When Louise Benson began her ministry to the poor in 1964, she started with two critical ideas. She firmly believed that everyone shared responsibility in working to overcome the injustice of poverty in our society and that we will have sufficient resources in our community to make this happen. Fifty years later, these fundamental concepts of hard work, justice, and shared responsibility still frame the critical work of Sacred Heart Community Service. Read Sacred Heart Community Service’s Strategic Plan. This roadmap is the culmination of an extensive process of reflection, analysis, dialogue and decision-making with board, staff, volunteers, and partners.

Community Needs Assessment

Every two years, Sacred Heart Community Service reports on the greatest needs in our community to ensure we are implementing programs, services, and public policy work that continue to achieve the greatest impact. We collect original data from the people that use our services and from organizations serving low income people. We also use public data source provided by U.S. Census, and Joint Venture Silicon Valley among others. We are grateful for all people who collaborate to help us understand our community even better. Financials

Sacred Heart Community Service continues to demonstrate great financial strength and fiscal prudence in the face of a challenging economic climate.
